Organization

  • We are governed by a joined delegation of our mated organizations, managed by a voted steering committee, guided by regional aviator organizations, traditional communities and air wings of the German Air Force, German Army and German Navy.

Activities

  • We participate in the national and international representation of the German Armed Forces and especially their aviation heritage.

  • We maintain connections with international aviation associations, their active and former members as well as their relatives, to promote and enhance interrelations and mutual understanding.

  • We look after and support survivors of the victims of wars and military service as well as those who have fallen in need (Werner-Andres Social Fund).

  • We help to clarify the fate of missing persons and carry out appropriate commemorative events.

  • We maintain an archive for the preservation, evaluation, and research of air warfare, conflict and modern aviation history, documentation, and literature.

  • We conduct an annual International Aviation Convention with currently over 14 Nations.

Information

Cooperation

  • For decades we have engaged in international engagement and closely been tied together with former and active aviation comrades from Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Hungary, and the United States.

  • We maintain contacts to Australia, Brazil, Sweden, Switzerland, Spain, and South Africa.

  • These ties make us an international Aviators Association, spanning across all continents.

Future

  • We want to continue to be home for all those who identify with the history and the ideals of modern German Military Aviation, their related associations, and active units.

  • In order to suitably preserve these goals and win further participation, we would like to recruit new members, especially of the advancing young generations.
