Greetings from the President of the Association of German Military Aviation e.V.

Ladies and Gentlemen

I would like to warmly welcome you to the newly revised website of our flying community.

We, the community of German military pilots, are a home for everyone who identifies with the ideals of German military aviation from all times in history, with their associated flying associations/units. Based on the Basic Law of the Federal Republic of Germany, we offer all members, traditional associations and similar organizations a forum for exchange, preserving tradition and cultivating camaraderie. You will notice that some changes have been made compared to the “old” website. These relate, on the one hand, to the design and functionality of the website, but also to changes that affect the community as a whole. In this way, the club name is being adapted to the orientation towards a cross-military and cross-generational club.

In addition, the coat of arms will be simplified, incorporating the essential features of the previous design, and the national colors will be added. These two changes are just part of the reshaping of the flying community.

Our intention is to implement a future-oriented orientation of the association. In addition to the greater integration of the flying units in the air force, this also includes further opening up to the flying units of the army and navy. These changes, along with language adapted to today's times, are also reflected in the updated statutes. The aim is to give active and former members a strong sense of “we” and to position the community for the future.

I would like to thank you for the work you have done so far, which has made this realignment possible, and I look forward to an intensive exchange with you and all members.
